Sanding marble is a time consuming process. This is the same material that s used with fiberglass and it buffs out. While this method will work fine for statues tile and marble countertops sanding large areas of marble like marble floors requires a completely different process and technique. Before sanding or grinding any marble surface it is important to clean the area thoroughly.

Wipe your vanity surface again with a clean soft cloth. If the cultured marble surface still isn t smooth and shiny try wet sanding with 1 000 grit wet dry sandpaper also available at auto supply stores followed by buffing with rubbing and polishing compounds to remove any scratches from the sandpaper.
