What is a ceramic magnet ceramic magnets also known as ferrite magnets were developed in the 1960 s as a low cost alternative to metallic magnets. As ceramic curlers heat up the hair to a higher temperature the curls tend to last longer and create curls that are more voluminous and heavier than digital perm. While their hard brittle quality and low energy exclude them from some applications ceramic magnets have won wide acceptance due to their corrosion and demagnetization. Many of our clients love wet looking hair and for them we ve perfected the ceramic perm.

Ceramic perm produces more voluminous and heavy curls than that of digital perm. However the digital perms take 20 to 30 minutes longer than the ceramic perms. 4 hours ceramic perms are well defined s curls achieved by heating your hair using ceramic curlers. Ceramic rollers also add volume to your well defined s curls.

Ceramic perm requires up to 4 hours. However due to more defined curls made by ceramic perms the hair will seem shorter as compared to other types of perms. As ceramic rollers can reach a higher temperature the curls made by the ceramic roller tend to last longer. It makes hair locks appear to have an s shape.

They are composed of iron oxide and strontium carbonate. I had it done at a hair salon and i prefer the digital perm.
